The unique color of the steel stringer, rails and riser plates is achieved by a LuminOre Finish.	The top steps were straight to conform to the top wall conditions. The stair stops at the top of the tower where the home owner accesses the balcony through a roof hatch.

Looking up the center of this curved stair, you can see the unique almost organic geometry of the space.	This picture shows the curving handrail on both sides of the stair.	A spiral stair with a curved stringer at the outer perimeter, picture taken during fabrication.	This picture shows the handrail and balusters welded to the stringer. This application required a 42" high gaurd rail on the outside, as well as a 36" high grab rail.

A 3D rendering of the curved steel stair with some stone tread textures & a curved steel line railing.	Some projects require 3-d visualization before we fabricate. Acadia Stairs is happy to provide these 3d sketches to help clients visualize what our designs will look like. This is an extra service available upon request.	Another angle of the spiral stair with curved stringer during fabrication in our shop.	The stair was knocked down for ease of shipment and re-installation. We provided a flat black primer paint. We can also provide a red-oxide primer.

The treads can be steel pans for your cement or tiles, or we can provide a flat plate tread for a stone or wood cover.	Here is the curved steel stringer staircase s during fabrication. The frame work around the stair ensures that the stair is built to the dimensions in our shop drawings & helps hold things in place as the stair comes together.	The curved stair railing is fitted with decorative end-scrolls & the fabrication bracing is removed. The stair is now ready to be knocked down for priming & shipment.

Curved Tri-Frame modern metal stair with steel railings and stringer structure painted black. Stone, glass or wood treads are available.	Tri-Frame stair with a variation of the riser plates. These riser plates help reduce the space between the treads to less than 4".

Curved Steel stringers with grating treads, curved riser plates and wrought iron railing. The old wooden stair is on the side now waiting for recycling.	The stair was painted to match the Sun Dried Tomato red that the window frames and existing exterior wrought iron railing had. The steel risers and grating treads were painted black.
