The largest of the traditional spiral stair convention, the 96″ diameter stair is a large, comfortable staircase. With an inner rail it feels every bit as comfortable as a curving or sweeping staircase. With the proper layout it can have riser heights that are less than 7″ and still provide plenty of head clearance and tread run (at both the narrow edge and the outer perimeter). This spiral stair can be made with a standard 4.5″ O.D. tread sleeve & 4″ center pole, or even larger size center columns (*6″+) are available.
