Founded in July 2011, Acadia Stairs operates with the mission to manufacture high-quality modern and contemporary metal stairs and complementary fabrications. Drawing inspiration from Acadia National Park, the company designs architectural metal features that harmonize with their surroundings. With over forty years of combined trade experience, the team has manufactured custom metal installations shipped across every US state. Every piece is fabricated with close attention to detail, combining robust engineering, tailored shop drawings, and specialized protective powder coatings to produce functional metal installations built to last.
The four-inch sphere rule is a standard building code requirement specifying that railing balusters or infill components must not permit a four-inch diameter sphere to pass through any opening.
